Smolak Farms of North Andover, Massachusetts combines agriculture, education, and entertainment in a very special way. The land was carved by glaciers, settled by prehistoric Indian tribes, colonized by English settlers and now farmed by the product of the wave of European Immigrants. Parts of the historic homestead are about 300 years old. Today the descendants of Martin and Magdalenna Smolak and their son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Helen Smolak, continue to farm one of the most progressive and beautiful farms nestled in the hills of northeastern Massachusetts. In 1982 the Smolak Family preserved 107 of the 160 acres in cooperation with the State of Massachusetts Agricultural Preservation Restriction Program, insuring that this area would forever remain open land, never to be developed. For the past 35 plus years, H. Michael Smolak, grandson of Martin Smolak, has overseen the development of the farm from a dairy farm to the extraordinary farm that it has now become.

The success and longevity of Smolak Farms can largely be attributed to its ability to adapt to economic shifts while maintaining its core values of family, hard work, and community
We absolutely recommend Smolak Farms as a wedding venue! The planning process with Elaine was so easy and enjoyable. She always answered our questions with impressive promptness.Elaine and her team did not miss a beat and set up our decor beautifully. We received endless compliments from our guests about how lovely the venue was. The ceremony area is stunning and has a large pergola. The reception tent is large and cozy due to all the sparkly lights. Everyone at the farm was so nice and genuinely happy to help us.
I loved seeing the live animals and they have so much to offer
I photographed a lovely wedding here and I truly love this location, especially in the fall. There were so many opportunities for stunning wedding portraits and the outdoor ceremony was incredible. I can not wait to photograph here again. Oh yeah and the cider donuts are AWESOME.
We just had our wedding at Smolak Farms and could not have had a better experience. Since day 1, when we met with Elaine to go over our options, we felt welcomed and supported. Leading up to our big day, communication back and forth was easy and I was able to get fantastic suggestions on vendors and ideas from Elaine and her team. Closer to the event, I was able to not only discuss details I had remembered, but also other important ones I had not thought about. With everything that comes into planning a wedding, it is in those small details that you finally can relax and feel that your wedding planning team has your back.
